Let me tell you, we are transforming HOPE! While I have been working hard to lead the transformation of our school, I have also made it a priority to ensure that we continue to bring fun, engagement, and joy into the HOPE experience. I am excited to lead this organization through bold and intentional changes that will transform how we impact our scholars, families, staff, and the entire school community.
In the winter of 2025, we completed a two-year strategic plan focused on building a Culture of Learning through four strategic priorities: Radical Growth, Stabilizing Our Operational Systems, Data-Centered, and Community Impact. We will pursue these priorities through our newly established organizational values: High-Impact, Scholar-Focused, Sense of Belonging, Leadership, and Joyful Excellence. These priorities and values provide the foundation for how we will lead, make decisions, and create meaningful experiences for our scholars.
As we continue to build greater rigor into our academic programs (including Hmong Language and Culture and the Arts) we recognize that transformation cannot happen when we do this alone. We need the voices, experiences, and ideas of our scholars, families, staff, and broader community to help shape what HOPE becomes. Our goal is to continue evolving into a true community school, where the community is not simply a partner to the school but an integral part of our students’ learning, growth, and success.
Your feedback, ideas, and continued partnership will be critical as we move forward. Together, we can ensure that HOPE continues to grow while remaining rooted in our mission, culture, and commitment to providing our scholars with a joyful, rigorous, and high-quality education.
